Wednesday afternoon I went by our store in Boston, which is undergoing some serious renovations, and let me say that it is going to be pretty schnazzy- as schnazzy as the guy in the pic is Jazzy.

Also, this week I found a second to watch the first 2 segments of the John Adams movie (really a mini-series) on HBO, which I highly recommend. It's based on the David McCullough book that everyone and their mother (hi, mom!) was lugging around some years back. Anyway, Paul Giamatti plays Adams, and though you wouldn't quite think he'd work as a founding father type, he does! He really does! Though he doesn't cut as dashing a figure as the fellows playing Jefferson and the delegate from South Carolina (I want to say Rutledge- very dandyish that one), but hey, can't have everything.

Beach Bound

Seriously, what can possible inspire you to hit the beach (weather permitting, people! weather permitting!) more than two ladies in a medieval throne? Not much, I say. So, grab your suit, a nifty towel, some board shorts and a cover up (I'd lose the fedora, though) and you're on your way.

If you don't happen to be in an area with a beach-happy clime (like me), brighten up the annoyingly and resiliently chilly days of March (seriously, Farmer's Almanac said this was going to be an unseasonably mild winter AND Ground Hog boy predicted an early spring- wtf?) with colors pulled from the rainbow. Weeeeeee!!!!
