Experience True WXGA Resolution and Flawless Color
InFocus Work Big IN35W
Experience bigger pictures with more vivid colors than ever before
with the InFocus Work Big IN35W. Powered by the new
BrilliantColorTM chipset from
DLP®, it provides flawless color accuracy and true WXGA
resolution. BrilliantColorTM from
DLP® enables true-color accuracy with the same 24-hour
reliability and filter-free design DLP customers have come to love.
The true 16:10 aspect ratio allows the IN35W to project every pixel
from your widescreen laptop. Hosting 2500 lumens and a 1400:1
contrast ratio the IN35W's 1280 x 800 resolution makes projected
images a perfect mirror of your widescreen laptop display. Onboard
digital video, audio and RS-232 connectivity enable the IN35W to
project from any source. That means you see more image for a more
complete, compelling presentation. If you own a widescreen laptop,
the IN35W is a perfect fit for your projector needs.
What is Wide-XGA anyway?
What is important to know is that the new standard WXGA computer
resolution is defined as being 1280 times 800 picture elements (aka
pixel), which corresponds to a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is also
important that not just we know that, but that the projector can
connect to the PC and know it too!
Each projector has an EDID* list (see below), which tells the data
source what resolution it has and makes sure it synchronizes the
dataflow between projector and source properly.
A variety of competitive projectors still list 'other' WXGA
resolutions (such as 1280x768 or 1280x720) in the EDID making it
difficult to impossible for the projector to lock on the signal
from the PC. What happens is that the projector keeps looking up in
the EDID list to be able to lock, but can't find it. So it just
loops and loops and loops. Not the InFocus projectors! The InFocus
Work Big IN35W is up to date with the latest technology, easy to
use and just works.
EDID*: Extended Display Identification
Data; it is a standard defined by the Video Electronics Standards
Association (VESA) and means that the computer source (its graphic
card) knows what is being connected to it (i.e. an InFocus
projector).
