medical spa services, such as Botox® or laser hair
removal?
ANSWER:
While it is customary to pay a 15-20%
gratuity for spa services performed by massage therapists,
aestheticians and nail technicians, it is not customary to give
gratuities for medical spa services. Injectibles (like Botox®),
laser treatments and other medical services are performed by
medical professionals - often doctors - and there are no expected
gratuities.
