Tips & Tricks: How to
properly care for your
monitor or laptop screen |

We often neglect this essential component, but it's important to
regularly clean your computer monitor or laptop screen. Here are
some steps to help keep your investment in like-new
condition: |

1) |
First, make sure your computer is turned off and
unplugged. |
|
2) |
Moisten a clean, soft, lint-free cloth (an old, clean t-shirt works
well, as do camera lens cleaners) with water or an LCD cleaner. For laptops, it
is recommended that you use an LCD cleaner. Be sure to use
sparingly-be careful not to soak the cloth. |
|
3) |
Gently wipe the screen in a circular motion. |
|
|
Caution: do not wipe the computer's display screen with any soap or
solution not designed for monitors. These solutions can damage the
monitor's anti-glare coating. Do not spray cleaners directly onto
the screen. |
